A very important consideration is that all Hymoto Energever grid connect turbines are rated at 10m/s wind speed.
To explain - many turbines are rated at 12m/s ....some even higher. Wind power increases according to an expodential curve so as wind speed increases the power of the wind increases very sharply. In very simple terms this means that at average UK wind speeds a 20 Kw machine rated at 12m/s will, over 12 months , only produce slightly more power than a 10 Kw machine rated at 10m/s.
